Day 1 | Thessaloniki - Bern - Geneva. "Welcome to the lively capital"
Meeting at Macedonia airport for our direct flight to Zurich. Arrival, board our bus and then we head to Bern. The city is built on a steep bend of the river Aar, with typical 16th century architecture against the backdrop of the majestic Alps. With its cobbled streets, red-roofed houses and picturesque facades, the old town of Bern is the best preserved historic centre in Switzerland We will also see St. Vincent's Cathedral, the main artery Marktgasse flanked by mosaic arcades, the famous Astronomical Clock and the Bear Park . Free time for lunch and shopping. Departure for Geneva, arrival and first acquaintance with the city where we will stay. Settling in our rooms.
Day 2 | Geneva - City tour - (Château d'Annecy) "Cosmopolitan mood à la française ,in the magic of the French Alps"
Breakfast and then we will start our tour of the city which stretches from the edge of the lake of the same name and is surrounded by the Jura and Savoy Alps. We begin our tour of the city that combines French refinement with Swiss dynamism. We will visit the Palace of Nations with the world's largest convention center, the old town, the Carbon Clock built in 1955, the tallest fountain whose water jet reaches 140 meters high and the City Hall where the first Geneva Convention was written and the
St. Peter's Cathedral built in the 13th century. Free time in the most cosmopolitan city in Europe. Alternatively, we recommend departure for the Venice of Savoy. Annecy, attracts tourists throughout the year, summer and winter, and satisfies the most demanding tourists. Lake Annecy is one of the cleanest lakes in the world and home to a wide variety of wildlife. Stop for a croissant at a boulangerie or sit down for an ice cream at one of the city's many gelaterias.
Day 3 | Geneva - Lausanne - Interlaken - Zurich "explore the Bernese Alps"
Breakfast and then depart for Lausanne. On our tour we will see the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee, which unfolds in two sections. In the old town with the Mont Repaux Park, the Maison Ripon, the Cathedral, the central railway station and in the Ussy, on Lake Leman and the Olympic Museum. Continue to Interlaken, also a winter resort with luxury accommodation and a base for alpine train rides and hiking. It is built on the banks of the river Aar, between the lakes Tönerze and Brinzerze, which gave it its name. Free time for a walk and coffee. In the afternoon arrival at our hotel in Zurich.
Day 4 | Zurich - City tour - Lucerne "in the Swiss metropolis and a walk on the most famous wooden bridge"
Breakfast at the hotel and we start our tour of the old town. We will see the 13th century Gothic Church of Frauenkirche with its famous stained glass windows, St. Peter's Church the largest clock plate in Europe, City Hall, Ritter Park, Sonnenberg Hill, and the tropical gardens of the University, the Opera House and the modern building Le Courmouzier environmental protection center. Banhofstrasse, the avenue of the big banks, is Zurich's most central and luxurious street. We head to the Railway Station area, where we start our tour of the city, along the banks of the Limmat River, which flows through the centre. We will see the impressive City Hall, whose facade is adorned with ornate friezes, but also the marble gate with its gilded decoration, the guild houses, St. Peter's Church, Grossminster Cathedral, the 13th century Fraumeinster Church with its stained glass windows by Marc Chagall, the Opera House and end up at the lake of the same name. Free time to enjoy the area, walking along the lakeside promenade. Walk along the city's most commercial street, Banhofstrasse, with its department stores (such as "Jelmoli"), bank headquarters, the Clock Museum and the footprints of famous movie stars. We then depart for another excursion experience in the alpine Swiss countryside. After a wonderful drive we arrive in Lucerne, on the shores of the lake of the same name. Built next to a large, crystal clear lake, with dozens of restaurants and shops lined up on cobbled streets and a picturesque Old Town to stroll around for hours, feeling as if you have "dived" into another world, of a very different century. In Lucerne, all days begin in the medieval historic centre, where all the major attractions of the city are concentrated, and end there again, with a dinner or a glass of wine, gazing at the hundreds of idyllic reflections of the night lights and the moon on the water. We will tour the old town with its colourful facades of houses, where we will see the closed chapel bridge from the 14th century, the town hall, St. Peter's Church, the main square, the medieval wine market, the famous Franciscan and Jesuit churches, the Hofkirke and of course the cobbled historic centre, all of which give the town a fairytale feel.
Day 5 | Zurich - Alpine train route St. Moritz - Zurich "on the most spectacular route"
After breakfast at the hotel, join us on an optional excursion on the famous Alpine train. After a lush green ride we arrive in Cour, where we board the traditional train, heading to the world famous St. Moritz ski resort of St. Moritz which is built at an altitude of 1580m with picturesque chalets and luxury hotels for a high standard winter holiday. The route winds through forests, lakes and glaciers. There are no words to describe the stunning, contrasting and colourful landscape, which will be unforgettable. Free time to enjoy the natural beauty. Return to Zurich & to our hotel.
Day 6 | Zurich - Rhine Falls - Lake Titise - Black Forest "where fairy tales were written"
Breakfast and departure to see a wonder of nature! We will visit the waterfalls of the Rhine. A river that originates in the Swiss Alps, crosses all of Europe and flows into the North Sea in the Netherlands. This region of Switzerland has a wide variety of natural attractions and monuments, but its magic is mostly hidden in the location and the spectacle created by the Rhine Falls, called Reinfall, which are the largest in Europe! Next, depart for the beautiful Lake Titise, a popular tourist destination with lovely cafes and shops, followed by Triberg, a small mountain town with the waterfalls of the Guttach River, totaling 151 meters in height and traditional wooden cuckoo clocks. On our tour we will discover one of the most famous mountain complexes in Central Europe, the famous Black Forest, which will reveal a unique natural landscape that despite its name (Mela) is not at all "dark". Picturesque villages with quaint houses, lakes, waterfalls, pine trees and fir trees accompany us throughout our route. Back to Zurich & our hotel.
Day 7 | Zurich -- Constanze - Stuttgart - Return flight. "On the lake between 3 countries"
Breakfast and depart for the excursion to Constanza and Mainau, the "Island of Flowers". located at the western end of the lake of the same name. Lake Constance or Lake Constance (Bodensee) is one of the most picturesque lakes in Europe. The city is built at an altitude of 400 metres on the foothills of the Alps and belongs to three states - the Germany, Switzerland and Austria. On arrival we will walk through its historic centre, see the Iberian statue, the market square, traditional beer gardens and there will be time for coffee, as well as beautiful and inexpensive shopping. We continue to the island of Mainau, which in 1932 Swedish Prince Lennart Bernadotte transformed into a paradise on earth - a garden of enchanting flowers. In 2004 Lennart Bernadotte died at the age of 95 and was buried in the crypt under the Royal Chapel in Mainau. The management of the garden has now passed to his children. Then departure for Stuttgart airport for the return flight.
