Day 1 / THESSALONIKI - RODOS
Meeting at Macedonia airport, baggage drop, ID check and flight to Rhodes. Arrival at Diagoras Rhodes airport, board our bus and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and free time at your disposal. Overnight stay.
Day 2 / RODOS - SYMI - PANORMITIS
Breakfast at the hotel. We depart for the port where we will board the boat to Symi. The Venetian island is rightly considered one of the most beautiful of the Dodecanese with its unique architecture. In Symi we observe the traditional houses built next to each other on the steep slopes. Strolling through the alleys and visiting the sponge shops is something that should not be missing from your experience. Our next stop is the port of Panormitis with the Holy Monastery of Taxiarch of Panormitis with its magnificent frescoes, the library, the folklore museum inside and an impressive wooden carved temple. A visit to Panormitis is an experience that seems to exude its own mystical energy. Board the ship, arrive in RODO and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 3 / RODOS - CASTELLORIZO
Breakfast at the hotel and we depart for the bordering and famous Kastelorizo. Charming island with many mansions examples of Dodecanese architecture built around the sea, they make an impression on the visitor. At the top the ruined medieval castle overlooks the islet of Ro in the west of the island. Feel a national emotion when you think of the island's only inhabitant raising the Greek flag every day. Walk through the preserved settlement along the waterfront with its traditional mansions with colourful facades. The boat is the only means of transportation to inaccessible shores and caves such as the incredibly beautiful blue cave where some lucky ones see the seal resting in the cave. Board the ferry and return to RODO in the late afternoon. Overnight.
Day 4 / LINDOS - KALLITHEA - TSABIKA MONASTERY
Breakfast at the hotel and then departure for a full day excursion to Lindos. A stop at the Baths of Kallithea, a stop at the church of Panagia Tsampika and we end up in the uniquely beautiful settlement of Lindos. The Acropolis of Lindos is built on a steep rock 116 meters high, which dominates over the traditional settlement with its picturesque alleys, buildings of special architecture, but also the impressive view of the Aegean Sea where we will visit and then you will have free time to discover the beauties of the place as well as the local cafes and restaurants. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 5 / RODOS Medieval city
Breakfast at the hotel and we open the cycle of our introduction to the island of the sun with a tour of the city of Rhodes. We will have a panoramic visit from the bus to Monte Smith Hill with the ruins of the ancient Acropolis, the Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Stadium from where we will have the opportunity to admire the Medieval City of Rhodes. Afterwards, a tour of the Medieval Town where we will admire the Palace, the Archaeological Museum, the Knights' Street, the picturesque Madraki and the Aquarium. Free time to wander the cobbled streets with their impressive buildings. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6 / RODOS (free day)
Breakfast and a free day at your disposal (optional) to walk around the picturesque alleys of the old town and the market of the new one. If if you wish you can swim at ELLI beach in front of MEDITERRANEAN for those staying in hotels in the city and at IXIA beach in front of the hotel. on the private beach of RODOS PALACE.
Day 7 / RODOS - PHILERIMOS - PETALOUDES
Breakfast and visit to Filerimos which is located in the area of Ialyssos. We will see the ancient acropolis of Ialyssos, the Monastery of Panagia Filerimos, the two chapels of Prophet Elias and the path to Golgotha. With a height of 267 m, it offers a stunning panoramic view of the northern side of the island of Rhodes. Something that will also impress you is the large number of peacocks you will see around! The Butterfly Valley is a natural refuge in the northern part of the island. It's a place as idyllic as hearing its name, and well worth a visit. It has been one of the island's most famous attractions for decades. This terrestrial habitat offers breathtaking scenery, dense vegetation, stunning wooden bridges, paved paths, small lakes, endless waterfalls, serene atmosphere and a magical experience for all its visitors. Here, you will also have the opportunity to meet the wonderful species of butterfly, called Panaxia Quadripunctaria! Back to the hotel. Overnight stay.
